Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon

We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Gynecologic Oncology Surgeon to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled specialist with expertise in the diagnosis, surgical management, and multidisciplinary treatment of gynecologic malignancies.

The role involves managing complex cases involving ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulvar, and vaginal cancers while working closely with a dedicated oncology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with gynecologic cancers.
• Perform advanced oncologic and cytoreductive surgical procedures.
• Lead outpatient clinics and contribute to diagnostic pathways.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board (MDT) discussions.
• Collaborate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, and Radiology teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide perioperative and long-term follow-up care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and clinical audits.
• Teach and mentor junior physicians, fellows, and medical students.

Requirements

• Medical Degree with completion of an accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency.
• Fellowship/Subspecialty Certification in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Board Certification (American Board, Canadian Fellowship, CCT, FRANZCOG, European Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of post-board Consultant experience preferred.
• Strong experience in complex gynecologic oncology surgery.
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensure is highly desirable.
