Nahanni Steel Products Inc is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to keep our machines running at top notch!

We are a LOUD and bustling manufacturing plant, where materials, parts and people are constantly on the move. As a Tier-2 automotive part supplier, we need to be a reliable partner for our customers and are looking for someone with absolute integrity and energy for the day-to-day operations.

We seek someone with the following experience:

Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical issues on metal stamping presses, feeders, transfer equipment, and related production equipment.

Supporting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting as required.

Performing preventive maintenance on presses, feeders, conveyors, facility systems, and other plant equipment.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, panels, switchgear, transformers, fuse panels, capacitor banks, conduits, lighting, and other electrical components.

Testing electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.

Working safely with electrical systems ranging from 24V control circuits up to 600V power systems.

Supporting safe, effective, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Working with external contractors when required.

Following all company health and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space, working at heights, and other applicable safety requirements.

Supporting continuous improvement activities related to equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and maintenance practices.

Working with PLC controls, sensors, drives, HMI systems, and troubleshooting control circuits.PLC programming experience is an asset.

Experience with Wintriss press controls or stamping press safety systems is considered an asset.

And has the following credentials:

Ontario or Interprovincial Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification 442A, or equivalent recognized trade qualification.3 to 5 years of relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience.
