ASSISTANT TEACHER - CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER (Birth-3)
Olive-Harvey's College's Child Development Center is looking for a
Full - Time Assistant Teacher(Birth-3) to provide instructional,
clerical and non-instructional support in the Child Development
Center classroom, in order to implement a developmentally
appropriate curriculum that is aligned with the educational and
philosophical goals of the program.
Under the supervision of the Teacher (Birth – 3) – Child
Development Center, the Assistant Teacher (Birth to 3) – Child
Development Center provides instructional, clerical and
non-instructional support in the Child Development Center
classroom, in order to implement a developmentally appropriate
curriculum that is aligned with the educational and philosophical
goals of the program. Perform related duties as required.
Adheres to the National Association for the Education of Young
Children (NAEYC) Code of Ethical Conduct, demonstrating a
professional attitude and work ethic, and respect for children,
families, and colleagues.
on classroom health, hygiene, nutrition, and safety. This includes
maintaining a clean and orderly environment for the children;
ensuring children attend a personal hygiene/hand washing; teaching
children about health and nutrition; reporting accidents, injuries,
and illnesses to parents and supervisors.
