Operations Technician

Operations TechnicianDubai | Salary up to AED 20,000I am working with a global organisation seeking an Operations Technician to provide hands-on technical support across live training environments and virtual delivery platforms throughout the META region.

This role will focus on supporting event technology, AV systems, network infrastructure, and end-user IT services to ensure seamless delivery of in-person and online sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup and operation of technology solutions for regional events
• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi equipment.
• Install and support AV systems including projectors, conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms, Zoom, Webex), microphones and displays.
• Provide onsite technical support during live training sessions.
• Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and endpoint devices.
• Support user administration, device configuration, onboarding/offboarding, and asset management.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and general network issues.
• Manage incidents, service requests, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience supporting IT operations, technical environments, or event technology.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, and AV systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and identity/access management.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support technical and non-technical users.
• For this position you must have experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, and event technology.
