Driver

The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

• Include, But Not Limited ToLoads, transports, and delivers items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviews orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assists with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Provides excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adheres to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abides by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Prepares reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operates equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Performs other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the business.

Qualifications

Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous delivery or customer service experience in any industry preferred.

Acceptable driving record.

Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.

Strong time management and customer service skills.

Ability to safely operate and navigate a delivery van.

Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.

Attention to detail is needed.

Ability to understand and operate GPS technology and other relevant apps.
