Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in Battaramulla. The Sales and Marketing Specialist will actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and manage relationships with existing clients. The role includes conducting client meetings and site visits, preparing quotations or proposals, and supporting negotiations to close sales.

In addition, the specialist will assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, maintaining a presence on relevant channels, and coordinating promotional activities and events. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, collaborating with project and design teams to align client expectations, and providing regular reports on sales performance and market trends.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle inquiries, and present solutions clearly.
• Proven Sales experience, including lead generation, opportunity follow-up, and closing deals in a target-driven environment.
• Experience in Sales Management or coordination, including pipeline tracking, basic reporting, and supporting sales planning.
• Ability to provide Training or product/solution briefings to clients or internal teams as needed.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and channels (e.g., social media, email campaigns, events) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in interiors, construction, real estate, or related industries is beneficial.
• Comfort working on-site in Battaramulla, with readiness to visit client locations when required.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in common office software and basic CRM tools, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
