Driver's Mate/Assistant

Pay Rate: £35,997.85

Grade: P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 48 hours per week

Shift patterns: 3 week rota - 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off 5.30am start time

Location: Allington, Kent ME16 0LE

We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol / white goods / furniture onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
• Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
• Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
• Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

✅this Role Would Suit People Who

• Have previous experience of working with volume orders
• Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
• Can perform simple maths calculations
• Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal
