Driver's Mate - Temp to Perm | GloucesterLooking to build a long-term career in logistics? We're hiring Driver's Mates in Gloucester on a temp-to-perm basis .

Pay

£12.71 per hour while temporary

£30,000 salary upon going permanent

What you'll be doing

Assisting with delivery of kegs, casks, cases & palletised goods

Safe loading/unloading using equipment (sack trucks, tail lifts, etc.)

Supporting drivers with routes, paperwork & customer service

Checking stock and reporting damages/shortages

Following all health & safety procedures

What we're looking for

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Team player with strong work ethic

Good communication & customer service skills

Physically fit for manual handling

Progression Opportunity:Opportunity to progress into HGV Class 1 training . Successful candidates with a full UK driving licence may be offered HGV Class 1 training through an internal driver programme (subject to performance & business needs).
