Purpose of the Job
The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading the overall Automotive sales operations across UAE, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
The role develops and executes national sales strategies, manages dealership/showroom performance, strengthens relationships with principals and key customers, and ensures the achievement of business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities / Job Accountabilities
- Develop and implement the national sales strategy, objectives, and initiatives to achieve sales volume, revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and manage the sales leadership and support teams to achieve departmental KPIs and company objectives.
- Monitor showroom operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, visual merchandising, customer experience, and operational excellence.
- Conduct regular sales performance reviews, meetings, and business updates to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate accounts, government entities, and fleet clients while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer escalations and implement corrective actions to continuously improve customer experience and service quality.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, Logistics, and Operations to ensure timely vehicle ordering, clearance, inventory availability, and principal payments.
- Maintain strong relationships with vehicle principals/manufacturers on pricing, product planning, technical matters, campaigns, and business development opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry developments, and recommend appropriate business strategies.
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales performance, profitability, customer retention, and market penetration.
- Oversee national vehicle inventory planning and management to ensure optimum stock levels while minimizing inventory ageing.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Monitor departmental expenditure and maintain effective cost control in line with approved budgets.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports to senior management.
- Lead tender submissions, fleet proposals, commercial quotations, and large corporate sales opportunities.
- Identify training and development needs for the sales team, prepare the annual training plan, and ensure its successful implementation.
- Drive employee engagement, succession planning, talent development, and performance management across the sales function.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in the automotive industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior sales leadership or National Sales Manager role.
- Proven experience in dealership management, fleet sales, retail sales, and business development.
- Strong experience working with automotive principals/OEMs.

- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
- Strong financial and business planning knowledge, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and dealership management/CRM systems.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is an added advantage.
- Highly structured, customer-focused, and results-oriented with strong business acumen.
Pay: AED40,000.00 - AED43,000.00 per month
