We are a leading consumer products business operating across the GCC, supplying a broad range of products to hundreds of retail locations across the region.
Our products are distributed through major retail chains, supermarkets, convenience stores, specialty retailers, and e-commerce platforms. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Key Account Manager to expand our retail footprint and strengthen relationships with key customers across the UAE and GCC.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on sales role focused on growing revenue through both existing and new retail accounts.
You will be responsible for managing key retail relationships, increasing product distribution, expanding shelf space, securing new listings, and driving consistent re-orders across major chains and independent retailers.
The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who is equally comfortable opening new doors, negotiating with buyers, and growing long-term strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Retail Account Growth
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing retail accounts across the UAE and GCCIdentify and secure new retail partnerships and sales channels
- Increase product distribution, SKU count, and shelf presence within existing accounts
- Negotiate additional listings, seasonal placements, promotional opportunities, and exclusive ranges
- Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers
- Business Development
- Prospect and open new retail accounts across supermarkets, hypermarkets, gift stores, specialty retailers, and other relevant channels
- Develop and execute plans to expand into new territories and channels
- Present product ranges confidently and professionally
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecast future sales
- Commercial Management
- Negotiate pricing, margins, payment terms, and commercial agreements
- Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
- Secure repeat orders and maximise account value
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and customer retention
- In-Store Performance
- Monitor product performance and identify growth opportunities
- Work with retail partners on promotions, displays, and activations
- Ensure strong product visibility and merchandising standards
- Recommend actions to improve sales performance where required
- Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Track performance against sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account plans
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management
Requirements
- 3–7 years' experience in B2B retail sales or key account management
- Proven track record of growing retail accounts and achieving sales targets
- Experience working with major retail chains preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Highly organised and commercially focused
- UAE driving licence preferred
