Role Description

The Accountant (Tally) will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording vouchers, sales, purchases, receipts, and payments in Tally, and ensuring all entries are accurate and timely. Responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, monitoring accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

The role involves preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, supporting inventory and cost accounting related to milk and dairy products, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Indore, where the employee will work partly from the office at Sanwer Road and may perform some responsibilities from home, depending on business requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Tally ERP and day-to-day accounting, including voucher entry, ledger posting, and bank reconciliation.
• Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, and invoicing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for report preparation, data analysis, and documentation.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work setup, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Prior experience in accounting within FMCG, dairy, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
