We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support the finance function and report directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting budgeting and audit activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Monitor bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist during internal and external audits.
- Support payroll processing and expense management.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and cost control.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with ERP/accounting system updates and process improvements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage. Key
