Job Title: Reporting & Business Intelligence Specialist

Location: Providence, RI

Duration: 6+ Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst to support enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and data management initiatives within a MEDITECH Expanse environment. This role will collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial teams to develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights that improve organizational performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain operational, financial, and clinical reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL.
• Create ad hoc reports and analytical solutions to support business and healthcare operations.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure data integrity across multiple systems and reporting platforms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support healthcare compliance, regulatory reporting, and audit-related data requests.
• Investigate and resolve reporting issues, data discrepancies, and system-related concerns.
• Assist with application upgrades, testing activities, and reporting validation efforts.
• Develop and maintain documentation, reporting standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, analysis, and report development.
• Hands-on experience with MEDITECH reporting, preferably within MEDITECH Expanse.
• Understanding of healthcare clinical, financial, and operational workflows.
• Experience with data validation, quality assurance, and governance initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple business units.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare business intelligence and analytics.
• Familiarity with Tableau or other BI/reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting environments and large-scale data initiatives.
