Position Summary
The Senior Data Analyst is a key analytical partner within the Office of the COO, responsible for transforming complex operational, sales, and service data into strategic insights that drive business performance. This role leads the development of enterprise dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data models that support SIOP, sales operations, and aftermarket service functions.
The analyst collaborates closely with cross‑functional leaders to deliver data‑driven recommendations that enhance revenue growth, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the collection, integration, and analysis of data from CRM, ERP, and enterprise systems to support sales performance, aftermarket services, and SIOP planning cycles.
- Design and maintain advanced dashboards and KPI reports across equipment sales, service revenue, parts consumption, and forecasting accuracy.
- Serve as the primary analytics partner for SIOP, providing demand/supply analysis, forecast variance reporting, and scenario modeling for executive decision‑making.
- Develop standardized aftermarket analytics, including service contract utilization, customer lifecycle metrics, and parts‑usage trends.
- Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational and revenue optimization.
- Ensure data integrity and governance through rigorous validation, documentation, and quality‑assurance practices.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Aftermarket teams to translate business needs into scalable, automated reporting solutions.
- Lead ad‑hoc analytical projects and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 2–7 years in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics—preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sales environments.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Strong SQL skills for complex data extraction and transformation.
- Experience with Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM platforms such as Infor CSI, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, or similar systems.
