Position TypeFull-Time/RegularThe Senior Consultant, Data Solutions within Continuous Improvement & Data Analytics (CIDA) is a key member of Boston University’s internal consulting team, supporting leadership and stakeholders across the University to design and implement data-driven solutions that optimize operations and advance strategic decision-making.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Consulting Services, this position plays a critical role in leading complex projects in service areas such as data visualization, automation, system integration, advisory services, facilitation, and project management.
This role offers a hybrid work environment designed to foster collaboration and flexibility, with remote work for independent and internal tasks, and in-person attendance for team activities and stakeholder meetings.
Salary Grade 50 Minimum $80,200, Midpoint $120,300, Maximum $160,500Note: Salary is based on related experience, expertise, available budget, and internal equity. This position may be filled at the Consultant or Senior Consultant level, depending on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000–$105,000, commensurate with level and experience.
Boston University supports a flexible work environment for authorized staff members. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (i.e. remote work up to four (4) days per week), after completion of a successful observation period.
