PR & Social Media Assistant

Role Description

The PR & Social Media Assistant is a full-time, role based in London (2-3 days a week in the office in Shoreditch). In this position, you will support the planning and execution of PR campaigns, including drafting press materials, researching press & influencers and maintaining media lists.

You will assist with social media content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring channels and engaging with online communities across key platforms. The role includes tracking media coverage and social performance, preparing reports and helping to organise events, press activations and influencer collaborations.

You will report into a Manager and work with the wider team to ensure consistent messaging, timely project delivery and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, clients, media and online communities.
• Experience or demonstrable interest in Social Media including familiarity with major platforms including Canva and show interest in social media trends.
• Ability in Social Media Content Creation from drafting captions to sourcing or briefing visual assets that align with brand voice.
• Solid Writing skills for press releases, pitches, social copy and short-form content tailored to press creators and clients.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools; familiarity with social media management or monitoring platforms is an advantage.
