At Grandiose we are currently seeking Recruitment & Onboarding Officer for Food Retail & Production business vertical.
Job Purpose
This role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and manage the onboarding process of new employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow effective recruitment practices to attract high-quality candidates for various roles within the company.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to meet the company's future hiring needs.
- Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiating terms as necessary.
- Follow guidelines and instructions given by Team Lead, senior HR officials, and Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company, ensuring that all candidates have a positive experience, regardless of the outcome of their application.
- Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that covers all necessary steps from offer acceptance to full integration into the team.
- Ensure that all onboarding tasks are completed efficiently and that new hires are fully prepared to begin their roles.
- Conduct and oversee the induction process on the first day of employment, providing new hires with a thorough introduction to the company’s culture, values, and policies.
- Ensure that all new joiners sign their Job Descriptions during the induction session, along with any other required documentation, such as confidentiality agreements and acknowledgment of company policies.
- Work closely with the IT department to ensure that all necessary IT assets, such as laptops, phones, and access to required software, are ready and available for new employees on their first day.
- Confirm that new hires have access to all necessary systems and tools, resolving any issues promptly to avoid disruptions.
- Gather feedback from new hires on their onboarding experience and make recommendations for improvements to the process.
- Foster a positive and inclusive onboarding experience that aligns with the company’s culture and values.
- Continuously assess and refine the onboarding process to enhance efficiency and the overall new hire experience.
- Implement best practices in onboarding to ensure that the process is aligned with industry standards and supports employee retention.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the Recruitment Supervisor on the status of onboarding activities, including completion rates, feedback, and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders, including HR colleagues, department heads, IT, and new hires, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Required Qualifications, Experience and
Skills
- At least Bachelor Degree (Pref. in HR Discipline), having certified HR course exposure will be an added advantage
- At least 5+ years of experience in Recruitment & Onboarding, pref. from FMCG or F&B Retail Industry
- Must be proficient in MS office Having exposure of ATS will be advantage
