We’re a startup with a fast growing e-commerce business, a retail store in Echo Park, and a rapidly expanding presence on TikTok Shop and TikTok Live. Our live streams are equal parts shopping event, style session, and group chat. We're looking for a charismatic host who can turn scrolling into shopping and first-time viewers into loyal customers.
The Role
As our TikTok Live Host, you'll be the face of Offe Market’s live shopping experience. This is not traditional home shopping television. It’s fast-paced, interactive, entertaining, and deeply rooted in internet culture.
You'll introduce new arrivals, style products in real time, engage with viewers, drive sales, and create an experience people come back for-even when they’re not planning to shop
What You'll Do
- Host Live Shopping Streams
- Lead TikTok Live sessions ranging from 2–4 hours
- Showcase new arrivals, explain product features, and style items on camera
- Maintain energy, engagement, and momentum throughout each streamDrive Sales and Conversion
- Create excitement around limited inventory and exclusive offers
- Leverage TikTok Live features such as flash deals, countdowns, and product pins
- Encourage viewers to take action while keeping the experience authentic and entertaining
- Build Community
- Respond to sizing, fit, and product questions in real time
- Recognize repeat viewers and customers
- Foster a loyal audience that returns specifically for your streams
- Become a brand expert
- Learn the stories behind the brands we carry
- Confidently explain product quality, value, fit, and styling opportunities
- Help customers understand why a $180 dress at $49 is worth grabbing before it's gone
- Collab with the team
- Work closely with off-camera teammates managing inventory, fulfillment, and stream operations
- Provide feedback on products, audience behavior, and stream performance
- Participate in short-form content including hauls, try-ons, behind-the-scenes clips, and promotional videos
- Help build anticipation for upcoming drops and live events
What We're Looking For
- Naturally entertaining - you can command attention and keep viewers engaged for hours
- Quick on your feet - you can find a compelling angle for a product within seconds
- Fashion-savvy - you understand brands, trends, fabrics, and fit
- A strong communicator - you can explain products clearly while reading and responding to a fast-moving chat
- Comfortable on camera - being live doesn't intimidate you
- Resilient and adaptable - you handle trolls, technical hiccups, and curveballs with humor and confidence
- Deeply online (in a good way) - you understand TikTok culture, trends, and internet-native entertainment
- Bonus points for experience in any of the following:
- TikTok Shop, Whatnot, Poshmark Live, or other live-selling platforms
- Retail sales, personal styling, or fashion merchandising
- Content creation, influencer marketing, or social media management
- In-person role based in Echo Park, Los Angeles
- Comfortable standing and being on camera for extended periods
- Availability for some evenings and weekends, when live shopping audiences are most active$18–$22/hour, depending on experience1–2% commission on gross live sales volume
