ScheduleMonday-Friday | Permanent Full-Time | 100% On-site10:00 AM-6:00 PMSome after-hours support is required as drivers operate overnight.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers to meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor routes and respond quickly to delays or operational issues.
• Maintain communication with drivers throughout the day and after hours when required.
• Process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, scale tickets, and related paperwork.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records using dispatch software and Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse staff, and drivers to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures.
• Support daily reporting and administrative duties.
• What The Client is Looking For
• Minimum 10 years of dispatch experience within transportation or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Bills of Lading, shipping documentation, and scale tickets.
• Experience using dispatch software and Transportation Management Systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable supporting drivers outside regular business hours when needed.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Burlington.
