Position Overview

Value and Character Specialist in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a full-time Education role focused on developing students moral growth, Islamic values, Quranic understanding, ethical awareness, and positive character formation.

This position is ideal for an experienced Islamic Education professional who can design values-based learning programs, support Quranic recitation and Tajweed development, and work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to strengthen faith-led student development.

Role Context The Value and Character Specialist will help shape a school culture built on faith, integrity, compassion, responsibility, and respect for Islamic traditions. The role includes planning workshops, delivering student sessions, supporting Quranic education, monitoring recitation and memorization progress, and integrating Islamic teachings into broader learning experiences.

The successful candidate will play an important role in promoting ethical decision-making, empathy, leadership, cultural awareness, and meaningful personal development among students.

Key Responsibilities * Design and deliver workshops, activities, assemblies, and classroom sessions that promote Islamic values, ethical decision-making, empathy, leadership, responsibility, and respect.* Support the development of a positive school culture rooted in faith, integrity, compassion, moral responsibility, and Islamic character-building.* Create age-appropriate values and character education initiatives aligned with Islamic teachings and the school s educational vision.* Collaborate with teachers to integrate Islamic values and moral learning into the wider curriculum in a practical and student-friendly manner.* Guide students in understanding the importance of good character, respectful behavior, honesty, compassion, discipline, and responsible citizenship.* Monitor and evaluate students progress in Quranic recitation, memorization, and understanding of Tajweed rules.* Support Quranic education programs that help students recite the Holy Quran accurately and confidently.* Assess the effectiveness of values-based programs and recommend improvements to increase student engagement and long-term impact.* Engage parents and the wider school community to strengthen Islamic character-building initiatives and cultural awareness.* Prepare reports, feedback, and improvement plans related to student participation, values education activities, and Quranic learning outcomes.* Work with school leaders, Islamic Education teachers, class teachers, and pastoral teams to support student wellbeing and personal development.* Promote safeguarding, student welfare, respectful communication, and a caring school environment.* Encourage students to become responsible global citizens guided by faith, integrity, compassion, and strong moral values.

Ideal Profile * Master s degree in Islamic Education or a closely related field.* Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Dubai.* Strong background in Islamic Education, Quranic studies, values education, character development, or student moral guidance.* Proven ability to teach and support Quranic recitation, memorization, and Tajweed rules.* Experience designing and delivering student workshops, school activities, values-based programs, and community engagement initiatives.* Strong understanding of Islamic values, cultural heritage, ethical learning, and faith-based student development.* Ability to collaborate with teachers and integrate Islamic teachings into broader curriculum planning.* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.* Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.* Ability to work with students across different age groups, learning abilities, and cultural backgrounds.* Professional, compassionate, and values-driven approach to education.* Strong reporting, assessment, and program improvement skills.* Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and positive school culture.
