Full-time · Reports to the CEO & Head Of OperationsWe're a profitable, fast-scaling online brand doing ~USD $5M/month in revenue, selling home & garden products to customers in the USA and Australia through video ads on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

We're hiring someone to lead our video ad creative team — coming up with the ideas behind the ads, managing a team of 4–5 video editors and being responsible for the content that drives our sales. Think of it as the person who decides what our ads should say, look like, and feel like — and then makes sure the team produces it at a high level, every single week.

You don't need any ecommerce experience. We'll teach you everything about the business.

Here's why we're looking for someone outside ecommerce: most people with "ecommerce creative experience" have learned to produce mediocre content and call it good enough. We'd rather hire someone with a natural eye for what looks great, strong creative instincts and the discipline to lead a team. If you have the right mindset, we will teach you the rest.

This is a stable, Dubai-based office role with a fixed monthly salary of AED 15,000–20,000 depending on your experience. No more relying on flying hours or per diems. After a 6-month probation period, high performers earn additional bonus commissions tied directly to the results your creative work produces.

• High visual and aesthetic standards — you know what looks polished and what doesn't
• Discipline and attention to detail from working in one of the most demanding service environments in the world
• The ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly and stay composed
• Many of you are already creating content on Instagram or TikTok — you understand what gets attention on social media

What you'll do

• 1. Lead a team of 4–5 video editors — assign their work, review what they produce, give feedback, set the quality standard and help them improve
• 2. Come up with ideas for video ads every week — what the ad should say, what angle to take, what will grab someone's attention in the first 2 seconds and make them want to buy
• 3. Write clear instructions (briefs) for your editors so they know exactly what to create without needing to go back and forth
• 4. Work with our advertising team to look at the data and figure out which ads are working, which should be improved and which styles should be dropped
• 5. Jump in and edit videos yourself when needed — for new ideas, urgent tests, or when something needs a personal touch
• 6. Keep track of how our ads are performing each week and report on what's working and what's not
• 7. Stay up to date on what's trending on social media — what types of videos are getting attention right now, what competitors are doing, what styles and formats are working
• 8. Build simple processes and workflows so the team runs smoothly as we grow

What we're looking for

• 1. Some hands-on experience with video editing
• You've used tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar.
• This doesn't need to be professional experience — if you've been editing your own content, reels, or videos for fun, that counts.
• But you need to understand how video editing works.
• 2. A strong eye for what looks good
• You naturally notice when something is visually off.
• You care about details, aesthetics and quality.
• You have opinions about what makes content look professional vs. amateur.
• 3. A feel for what gets attention on social media
• You understand what makes someone stop scrolling.
• Whether you've learned this from your own content or just from being a heavy consumer of social media, you know what works and what doesn't.
• 4. Leadership ability
• You're comfortable telling people what to do, giving honest feedback, and holding a team to a high standard.
• You don't avoid difficult conversations.
• 5. Organised and self-driven
• You don't wait to be told what to do next.
• You plan your week, manage your own time and keep things moving without someone checking on you constantly.
• 6. Strong written and spoken English
• We sell to customers in the USA and Australia.
• Your briefs, feedback and communication need to be clear and sharp in English.
• 7. Genuine interest in creativity and content
• This should excite you, not just be "another job." We want someone who actually enjoys thinking about what makes great content.
• 8. Commitment
• We're not interested in someone who's looking for a temporary stop before the next thing.

Compensation
