We are seeking a skilled and motivated Airline Ticketing Agent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel field within the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus or Sabre. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong desire to advance their career in the travel industry.
Process airline bookings and ticketing using Amadeus or Sabre GDS.
Handle changes, cancellations, and refunds efficiently.
Ensure accurate fare quotes and manage complex itineraries.
Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Assist customers with travel advice, itinerary planning, and special requests.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
Maintain and update customer records and booking details accurately.
Prepare and process travel documents, including tickets and vouchers.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and high service standards.
Address and resolve any booking or travel-related issues effectively.
Handle customer complaints with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
Stay updated on industry trends, airline policies, and travel regulations.
Participate in training programs and contribute to team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry within the UAE.
Proven experience with GDS systems, preferably Amadeus and/or Sabre.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in using GDS systems and travel-related software.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
A diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of UAE travel regulations and industry standards.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
A proactive and career-oriented mindset with a willingness to grow within the company.
