About Your TeamYou will be part of a dedicated site team focused on delivering work safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. Working alongside the Foreman and site supervisors, you will support daily operations, coordinate with crews, and help ensure smooth execution of activities on site.

Your Role

As a Foreman, you willProvide effective leadership and direction to site teams to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution of activities.

Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment in line with project plans, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and minimal downtime.

Enforce ALEC’s safety standards and site protocols, promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and risk awareness at all times.

Interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring works are executed accurately and aligned with design intent.

Monitor daily progress, identify potential delays and issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain productivity and schedule adherence.

Drive quality assurance on site, ensuring work is delivered to the required technical and contractual standards.

Maintain accurate site records, including progress reporting and workforce tracking, to support project performance reviews.

Support a collaborative and disciplined work environment, motivating teams, resolving site-level challenges, and escalating as required.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.

Apply technical expertise and discipline-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality outcomes within your area of specialisation.

Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.

What We’re Looking ForSkills and

Competencies

First Aider certification
Strong practical understanding of site operations & leadership
Skilled in task planning, team coordination, & progress monitoring
Able to interpret technical drawings & specifications
Clear communicator with the ability to guide, direct, & manage site teams
Strong commitment to safety, quality, & compliance
Proficient in time management & resource planning
Reliable, proactive, & solution-focused with sound judgment
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Exposure to QA/QC procedures, permit-to-work systems & site inspections
Ability to mentor junior team members & lead small-scale training or briefing sessions
Knowledge of local authority regulations & standards.
Qualifications & Experience Qualification in appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or5+ years experience
