Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Science and Software Engineering | United Arab Emirates University | College of Information Technology

The College of Information Technology (CIT) at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for multiple faculty positions in Computer Science and Software Engineering. This is an opportunity to further strengthen current research programs and create new multidisciplinary research initiatives and partnerships.

Position Overview:We seek faculty candidates with strong research records in Computer Science theory, programming languages, databases, visualization, quantum computing, human-computer interaction, ML/AI theory and design, operating systems, and/or Software Engineering. Successful candidates are expected to complement and enhance current research and contribute to teaching of both undergraduate and graduate courses.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-impact research in Computer Science and Software Engineering

Publish in Q1 journals and top conferences

Secure research grants and funding

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses

Supervise students at undergraduate and graduate levels

Collaborate with faculty across multiple departments and programs

Minimum Qualification

PhD in Computer Science or related area from a reputable university

Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses

Excellent record of publications in Q1 journals

Must be able to join UAEU in Fall 2026

Preferred Qualification

High research productivity in Computer Science related areas

Established record of discipline-specific research publications

Experience writing and securing research grants

Evidence of excellence in teaching and student supervision
