Branch Manager (Building Industry) - Pretoria

Remuneration: R45 000 Basic per month +Benefits

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a well-established company in the premium surface/slab industry, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the full operations of their Pretoria branch.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Overall management and daily running of the branch
• Sales and customer service management
• Business development and growing the branch client base
• Client liaison and relationship management
• Customer credit control
• Money collection and banking
• Stock control and stock management
• Preparing annual budgets
• Recruitment and employment of staff
• Staff management, performance management and discipline
• Implementing and managing company standard operating procedures
• Ensuring compliance with HR, departmental and health & safety policies
• Ensuring company vehicles are maintained, roadworthy and serviced according to manufacturer specifications
• Performing any additional reasonable duties as required by management

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12
• A qualification in marketing/sales, public relations and/or business management is advantageous
• At least 5 years industry experience within a management role
• Well-presented
• Computer Literate – in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (and Navision will be advantageous)
• Fluent: Speak – Read – Write – English and Afrikaans (Vernacular literacy is advantageous)
• Organized, self-motivated and independent, with the ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks and people.
• To be residing within the city of Tshwane
• There is a probation period of 3 months
• Working hours are Mon-Fri 08h00-17h00.
• Included are a company car and a fuel card
• Included are a cellular telephone and a laptop (with the necessary accessories)
• Construction Industry experience is a must have
