Restaurant Service Crew – Waiter, Waitress, Runners, Cashiers Walk-in interview

Shamla Mandi restaurant Dubai UAE are hiring for Restaurant Service Crew to join the UAE team. In this position, you will create an intimate and high-quality dining experience for guests.

You will answer customers’ questions, assist them with their choices, take their orders, and deliver their meals.

We are looking for candidates who are warm, and calm under pressure, who knows how to work in a team, and work with urgency throughout the shift.

Restaurant Service Crew Responsibilities

• Responsible for presenting menus to patrons.
• Taking orders and answers questions on meal items.
• Making recommendations and serves food/beverages to customers.
• Prepare the bill that itemizes total meal costs and sales taxes.
• Answer questions about menu items, wine and other beverages
• Gracefully suggest/upsell additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks
• Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Offer special assistance to patrons with specific needs, such as highchairs for children
• Memorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredients
• Use POS system to accurately calculate the patron’s bill

Basic Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least 1 years work experience from a similar work background
• Familiarity with restaurant POS software a plus
• Interest in shift work

Experience

• server: 1 year (Preferred)
