Job Description

• Contract Type: Permanent – 40 Hours Per Week
• Days of Work: 4 from 7
• Various Shifts available
• Mon to Thur / Tues to Fri / Weds to Sat Hours of Work: 00:00 to 10:30 This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift.
• As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
• You'll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
