Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Receptionist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring that patient information is accurately recorded in the clinic’s systems.

Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and coordinating with clinical staff to maintain an organized flow of patients. The role involves handling patient files, verifying basic documentation, processing payments as needed, and maintaining a tidy, professional reception area.

The Medical Receptionist works closely with doctors, nurses, and other team members to support high-quality patient care and a positive clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Appointment Scheduling and Receptionist Duties skills, including managing patient check-in/check-out and coordinating daily calendars.
• Professional Phone Etiquette and customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and direct calls efficiently and courteously.
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology and Medical Office procedures to support accurate communication with clinical staff and patients.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and clinic software, including electronic records and scheduling tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused and organized approach to work.
• Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Previous experience in a medical or clinic reception environment is essential.

Healthcare or administration training is an advantage.
