Hashtag is seeking a Social Media Executive to support and grow our brand’s digital presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who enjoys crafting engaging content, staying on top of trends, and bringing fresh ideas to life.

You’ll play a key role in developing original content, assisting in campaign execution, and ensuring our social channels stay active, relevant, and engaging.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the Social Media Manager in managing up to three client accounts, supporting day-to-day operations, content coordination, and communication.
• Coordinate with copywriters, designers, and video editors to brief, track, and follow up on content deliverables.
• Monitor social media activity and platform trends to provide timely recommendations and ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
• Manage scheduling and publishing of approved content using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout, or similar platforms.
• Support the preparation of performance reports by compiling analytics, metrics, and insights for weekly and monthly reviews.
• Attend client events and activations when required, assisting with live coverage and basic content capture via mobile.
• Maintain detailed records of internal and client feedback to track deliverables and ensure timely revisions.
• Participate in internal team meetings and client calls, documenting minutes and ensuring follow-up on action points.
• Ensure proper documentation of out-of-scope tasks or requests and escalate to the Social Media Manager when required.
• Stay updated on the latest features and updates across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience within the UAE, preferably in an agency environment.
• Fluent in English;
• Arabic speaker is required.
• Experience working on corporate, government, or semi-government accounts.
• Hands-on experience managing platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Strong attention to detail across content, reporting, and communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and work within tight timelines.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Sprout or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of content strategy and campaign planning.
• Ability to review copy, design, and video content with a critical eye.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (creative, media, production).
• Highly organized with strong task management and prioritization skills (experience with tools like Asana, Jira, Monday.com, or similar is preferred).
