A growing software company is helping scientists and researchers accelerate the development of next-generation products across industries including advanced materials, chemicals, biotechnology, food, and sustainability. Backed by leading investors and trusted by enterprise R&D organisations, their platform is transforming how scientific teams manage data, experiments, and research workflows.
They are looking for a Software Engineer / Implementations Engineer to join a highly technical customer-facing engineering team. This role sits between software engineering, data engineering, and customer delivery, helping build integrations, data migrations, APIs, and custom workflows that connect customer environments directly into the platform.
You'll write production Python code, build data pipelines, work with scientific data, and solve real-world technical challenges for global customers.
This is a rare opportunity to combine software engineering with real-world scientific impact. You'll work with customers developing everything from sustainable materials to next-generation battery technologies, while building production software that directly supports innovation across multiple industries.
The team is small, highly collaborative, and offers significant learning opportunities alongside experienced engineers.
