Web Developer Intern

We are adding a Web Developer Intern to our team to help us build out the internal infrastructure for an established London client. The work involves taking manual processes that currently live in cumbersome spreadsheets and turning them into stable, web-based tools.

You will be working closely with our senior developers to build dashboards and data entry systems that help this client manage their daily operations more effectively. This is a full-time, fully remote position where you will get to see how professional software is built from the ground up. The Role

In this role, you will help us build the tools that real people use to do their jobs. A large part of your work will involve moving data between different systems and ensuring that information is displayed clearly on internal dashboards. You will be helping us write code to clean up legacy data, building out new frontend components for user interfaces, and ensuring that our applications are responsive and functional.

This is not about making things look pretty for a marketing campaign; it is about making sure a warehouse manager or an operations lead can find the information they need without a struggle. Since we are a remote team, you will spend a lot of time communicating in writing. You will be expected to update your progress frequently and ask questions when you hit a wall.

You will see the entire lifecycle of a project, from the initial data mapping to the final delivery to our client in London. You do not need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable with HTML, CSS, and the basics of JavaScript. Experience using Git and GitHub to manage your code versions. A basic understanding of how databases like Postgres work. Curiosity about how APIs connect different software tools together.
