Role Description
The Senior Software Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible fordesigning, building, and maintaining critical platform services (Identity, Metering, and relatedinfrastructure). This position requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to workindependently and mentor junior team members.
The ideal candidate spends approximately 80-90% oftheir time on development work, with the remaining 10-20% dedicated to code reviews, technicaldiscussions, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust platform services including Identity management,
- Metering systems, and supporting infrastructure Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements todeployment Conduct thorough code reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback Debug complex production issues and implement effective solutions Contribute to on-call rotation and incident response for platform services Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and guidance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutionsd maintaining scalable services Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, or similar) Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with current AI development tools and practices (Agentic, Spec-Driven, etc.) Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex systems
