Product Manager / Designer

About The Role

We’re looking for a hybrid PM / Designer who can scope a problem, design a solution, ship the spec, and write the light code or prototype to prove it works. You’ll partner with engineering pods, run experiments, and own outcomes, not tickets. You’ll also manage and mentor the engineers in your pod.

Why this role matters

We don’t have separate PM and Design lanes; the highest-leverage people we’ve hired sit in the middle. The right person here will materially shape what gets built across product, with direct input on roadmap and shipping cadence.

What you’ll do

• Own a product surface end-to-end: research, design, spec, ship, measure.
• Pair with engineers daily; jump into Figma, code, or a doc as the problem demands.
• Run experiments and own the outcomes you commit to.
• Set the bar for product quality and craft inside your pod.
• Manage and mentor the engineers in your pod.

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years across product management and product design (or a similar hybrid).
• Comfortable in Figma; comfortable reading and writing light code.
• Strong taste; strong written communication.
• Track record of shipping consumer products end-to-end with measurable outcomes.
• Bias toward shipping over polishing slides.

Nice to have

• Experience in commerce or two-sided marketplaces.
• A portfolio of shipped consumer surfaces with measurable outcomes.

How we hire

Role

A short, focused process designed to respect your time. The specifics vary by role, but here’s the format we typically aim for:

• Intro call with a relevant team member or a founder (30 min).
• Working session: pair with a senior team member or a founder on a real product spec or design tradeoff, in Figma and prose (~60 min).
• Depending on the role, a paid half-day trial so we can see how you work with the team, and so you can see what the problems actually look like.
• Offer within 5 business days of the final round.
