Product Manager, Finance

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager to support major order-to-cash initiatives within a large enterprise technology environment. This in-office role will manage one product backlog and one balanced delivery team, partnering closely with accounting, finance, business stakeholders, UX, and engineering.

This is a great opportunity for you if you understand accounting and financial business processes, can manage multiple initiatives at once, and are comfortable owning work across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 6–8 major initiatives or capabilities from an order-to-cash business process perspective.
• Own one product backlog and lead a balanced team of approximately 10 engineers, with UX support as available.
• Support key initiatives including store onboarding and Worldpay implementation as a secondary payment processor.
• Manage internal enterprise initiatives tied to financial operations, payments, delivery speed, and related business capabilities.

Lead the full product lifecycle

Define: problem statements, goals, OKRs

Discover: business requirements, use cases, stakeholder needs

Design: solution blueprints and process flows

Deliver: sprint planning, backlog management, development coordination

Deploy: incident ticket tracking, post-launch support

• Partner with accounting and finance stakeholders to understand process needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure deployment issues and incident tickets are addressed quickly.
• Use metrics and prioritization to balance business needs, technical capacity, and delivery timelines.
• Diplomatically challenge or push back on business requests when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, or order-to-cash business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements.
• Comfort working with engineering teams in an Agile delivery environment.
• Strong prioritization skills and comfort using metrics to guide decisions.
• Ability to own work end-to-end, not just participate in one phase of delivery.
• Product mindset, even if formal product management experience is limited.

Preferred Qualifications

• Product Manager experience in finance technology, payments, ERP, retail, or enterprise systems.
• Experience with order-to-cash, accounts receivable, payment processing, or financial operations.
• Familiarity with payment processors such as Worldpay or Fiserv.
• ERP implementation experience, especially SAP S/4HANA or S/4HANA Private Cloud.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar incident management tools.
• Background as an ERP consultant, business analyst, product owner, or finance systems analyst.
