Associate Product Managers, Growth (Pittsburgh, PA)

Duolingo, Inc. seeks multiple Associate Product Managers, Growth (Pittsburgh, PA) to drive user growth by defining product strategy and roadmaps, and owning key optimizations across the user lifecycle. Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to planning, execution, and launch. Build and maintain a growth backlog, experimentation process, and long-term strategic vision.

Develop scientific experiments to validate high-impact growth opportunities. Conduct user research and analyze market trends and competitive data to develop a product roadmap for a key component of the business. Partner closely with designers to deliver thoughtful, high-quality user experiences that balance learning outcomes and engagement.

Work with engineers to shape solutions, guide feature development, and make thoughtful tradeoffs. Define, track, and analyze metrics to evaluate product performance and inform iteration. Perform deep quantitative analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and growth. Enable cross-functional teams to scale successful product learnings and apply proven optimizations across other areas of the app.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Software Management, Computer Science or a related field. Must have knowledge or coursework in: User experience design; Data Analytics; Hypothesis Testing; Competitive Advantage; Cognitive psychology; Human-computer interaction; User research; Interaction Design; and Rapid Prototyping.
