Product Owner

We are searching for a motivated Product Owner to work closely with a cross-functional software development team. The Product Owner is an important role that combines user advocacy, collaboration, creativity, strategy, and technical skills.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Be a problem solver.
• But first, dive in to discover the real problem to be solved.
• Connect cross-functional agile development teams to the problem and generate excitement for creating outstanding results for customers.
• Work closely with the Product Management team.
• Define epics and user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and prioritize the product workstream backlog.
• Discover the most important problems to solve and effectively weed out what doesn’t bring significant value.
• Get creative.
• Look at problems from different angles.
• Ideate solutions with the development team.
• Work with UI and UX designers to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Develop feedback loops to gather insights from customers and stakeholders.
• Serve as SME, providing guidance and expertise on product features, functionality, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the industry, of the customer base, and of the software technology stack.
• Assist in the coordination of dependencies with other teams and departments.

• Familiar with UI and UX design techniques and best practices
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
• High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability

Education And Experience

2+ years’ experience in agile software developmentBachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, accounting, MIS, other related fields or equivalent work experienceExperience with the following is a plus: Supply chain management, building materials, enterprise resource management systems (ERP), B2B applications
