Job Context

Arrivia powers the travel behind many of the world's membership and loyalty brands. Its private travel marketplace gives members access to deeply discounted cruises, resorts, and hotels, and its platform runs the booking, servicing, and rewards underneath those programs. The engineering teams build and scale that platform across a distributed, cloud-native architecture.

As an Agentic Software Engineer III, you design and ship complex full-stack features and subsystems, and you own technical delivery from design through production.

You work with significant autonomy, using Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to multiply your output, and you go a step past writing features with agents: you build the internal agentic workflows that automate testing, documentation, and code review triage, and you configure the MCP integrations that connect agents to internal tools and platform services.

You mentor junior engineers, help set the team's quality bar, and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability. This seat is onsite in Phoenix, working in person with the product and engineering teams.

Expect 5 to 8 years of full-stack experience and 2 or more years using coding agents professionally, across TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET, a front-end framework like React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular, and a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

You fit if you've moved past using agents well and started building with and around them: automating the repetitive engineering work, wiring up MCP servers, and showing less experienced engineers how to do the same. You make sound calls on system design and cross-component integration, you weigh speed against long-term maintainability, and you bring judgment to every place an agent touches the codebase.

Deep experience with RESTful APIs and microservices, containerization, CI/CD, and distributed messaging like Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ rounds out the picture.
