Admin Data Analyst

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Statistical Assistant to work at a facility in New York, NY.

Pay Rate: $30 / hour

• M-F 40 hrs per week, TBD

1. Minimum Candidate Qualifications

The candidate must have a minimum of

a. 5 years of experience in data governance.

b. 5 years of experience in compiling and computing data according to statistical formulas for use in data analytic and/or

statistical studies.

c. A Bachelor’s Degree.

d. Proof of eligibility to work in NYS.

2. Job Description and Required Services

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following

• Compile and compute data according to statistical formulas for use in data analysis and/or statistical studies.
• Prepare business analytics and assists in preparing data governance metrics and reporting
• Conduct research and analysis of data at DFS, its definitions and usage, system flows, and key challenges and opportunities
• Assist in preparation of reports, as needed
• Assist with administration of governance forum(s), as needed
• Develop documentation including reference guides, how-to(s), summaries, reports, meeting minutes, etc.
• Closely collaborate with data stakeholders across DFS to drive decision making processes and facilitate discussions to address

conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements

• Other duties as assigned

Notes

• Telecommuting may be allowed at the discretion of the hiring manager
• The Department does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by mass transit.
