About the Role

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking an experienced Director of Data Management & Enterprise Analytics to lead enterprise-wide data governance, reporting strategy, and analytics initiatives.

This leadership role is responsible for establishing data standards, managing enterprise reporting, overseeing analytics teams, and ensuring high-quality, trusted data that supports clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR), healthcare analytics, data governance, enterprise reporting, and large-scale data management within complex healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead enterprise-wide data governance, reporting strategies, and data standards.
• Establish common data definitions, business rules, and enterprise reporting best practices.
• Lead enterprise reporting, decision support, and analytics initiatives.
• Consolidate reporting efforts across departments through standardized processes.
• Oversee data warehouses, data marts, dashboards, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage SQL databases, data models, interoperability, and interface development.
• Partner with IT leadership, executive teams, and clinical stakeholders on enterprise analytics initiatives.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and implementation timelines.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop reporting analysts, data governance specialists, and analytics teams.
• Conduct enterprise data audits and implement continuous process improvements.
• Maintain executive dashboards and enterprise performance reporting.
• Collaborate with business leaders to deliver actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Monitor industry trends, healthcare regulations, and emerging data technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience working within complex Electronic Health Record (EHR) environments.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience implementing and supporting enterprise EHR systems.
• Experience leading enterprise data governance and reporting initiatives.
• Strong SQL database experience (Microsoft SQL or similar).
• Experience with enterprise data models, interoperability, and interface development.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
