Financial Data Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE

TRC Talent Solutions seeks a Financial Data & Reporting Analyst to join a rapidly growing healthcare organization focused on transforming how performance is measured and managed across finance and operations. As the organization continues to scale, they are investing heavily in analytics and reporting capabilities to support smarter, data-driven decision-making across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career analyst looking to build a strong foundation in financial analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. You'll partner closely with finance, operations, and enterprise data teams to support critical reporting initiatives while gaining exposure to key business metrics, modern data platforms, and executive-level decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the creation, maintenance, and distribution of recurring financial and operational reports.
• Analyze key performance indicators including referral trends, denial rates, plan of care adherence, and workflow performance metrics.
• Assist in transitioning reporting processes from manual and ad hoc reporting to scalable, repeatable solutions.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and Data teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs.
• Identify data quality issues, reporting gaps, and opportunities to improve data integrity.
• Contribute to the development of trusted reporting frameworks that support business growth and operational effectiveness.
• Support reporting requests and provide actionable insights that help drive informed business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting processes, data accessibility, and overall reporting efficiency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Approximately 2 years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, business analytics, or operations analytics.
• Excel Skills: Strong proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data validation, and data analysis techniques.
• Reporting Experience: Experience creating, maintaining, or supporting business reports and working with structured datasets.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze trends, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly.
• Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
