This is an excellent opportunity for someone with SQL and Microsoft BI experience who enjoys working with data, creating insightful reports and helping support business decision-making. You'll work within a friendly, supportive team where you'll continue to develop your technical skills and gain valuable commercial experience.

The Role

As a Junior SQL Data Analyst, you'll extract, analyse and present data from SQL databases, producing management information and business insights using Microsoft BI tools.

Your responsibilities will include

• Extracting and manipulating data using SQL.
• Producing reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
• Creating daily, weekly and monthly management information reports.
• Analysing large datasets to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Supporting forecasting and data mining activities.
• Producing ad hoc reports and performance analysis.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver meaningful insights.

About You

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in data and reporting.

You'll ideally have

• Good SQL skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI tools such as SSIS, SSRS or SSAS would be advantageous.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
