Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager is responsible for the overall reliability, availability, security, performance, and lifecycle management of SAESL’s IT infrastructure environment. The role serves as the primary owner of all infrastructure services, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, end-user computing, data storage, backup and recovery, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
The incumbent will lead and govern the in-house IT team, manage service providers (MSPs) and outsourced operational support teams, ensuring service delivery meets agreed business requirements, cybersecurity standards, regulatory obligations, and operational excellence targets.
The role is accountable for maintaining a stable and secure IT operating environment that supports critical business systems including SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Solumina MES, Power Platform, engineering systems, and manufacturing operations.
The position plays a critical role in supporting SAESL"s digital transformation agenda, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and future technology roadmap while ensuring high levels of operational resilience and business continuity.
Job Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Strategy & Leadership Define and execute the enterprise infrastructure roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation goals Drive continuous improvement in performance, resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency Lead modernization initiatives (cloud adoption, automation, virtualization, network transformation) Establish infrastructure architecture standards and lifecycle management practices Provide strategic and technical advisory to business and IT stakeholders

- Qualification / Experience

- At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience managing outsourced IT service providers and large-scale vendor contracts.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or other highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise infrastructure operations.
