FP&A Analyst

Financial Business AnalystLocation: Melville, NY (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Compensation

Up to $110,000 base salary + bonusHoxton Circle is partnering with a growing, privately held electronics manufacturing organization seeking a Financial Business Analyst to join its finance team.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and will play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Analyze profitability, margins, pricing, and overall business performance
• Partner directly with Sales Leadership and Business Unit leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Evaluate customer profitability, product mix trends, and commercial performance
• Develop reporting and analysis that supports strategic business decisions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial modeling
• Identify operational trends, risks, and opportunities for improved performance
• Investigate data inconsistencies and recommend process improvements
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field3+ years of FP&A, Financial Analysis, Commercial Finance, Strategic Finance, or Business Analysis experience
• Strong understanding of profitability, pricing, margins, and financial performance drivers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations
• Strong Excel and analytical capabilities
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating independently
• Preferred Background
• Manufacturing, distribution, industrial, consumer products, or product-based business experience
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Exposure to sales performance analysis, customer profitability analysis, or commercial finance
