Finance Analyst

Salary Range

$80,000- $90,500 per year

This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday).

Wayfair’s Finance organization is a global, data-driven partner to teams across the business.

We own core accounting and financial operations, delivering clean monthly and quarterly results, paying our people and suppliers, collecting cash from customers, managing tax and strategic procurement, and our corporate and operations finance teams provide forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support that guide Wayfair’s growth and profitability in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare financial analyses/models to support leadership decision making
• Support ad-hoc analytical requests both from finance and stakeholder teams
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) across the business, communicate variances over time, and partner with senior leaders to drive improvements
• Automate dashboards and monthly reporting materials (including historicals & forecast) for leadership meetings through Google DataStudio and Looker
• Learn and develop in a hands on environment where you will be owning / supporting projects and receive frequent feedback and coaching

What You’ll Need

• 0-3 years of transferable experience in a corporate environment, including internship and co-op experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Analytics.
• A strong interest in emerging technology and the ability to integrate generative AI tools (e.g. Gemini) into daily tasks to drive efficiencies.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI).
• Interest in a Finance roe that is strategy focused.
• Ability to work in an environment that requires being a self-starter and team player.
• Ability to simplifiy complex data, identify core themes, and provide actionable solutions (e.g., critical thinking & problem solving skills).
• Detail-oriented and enjoys tackling new challenges.
• Ability to effectively communicate both to leadership and within the Finance team and stakeholder teams.
