Senior Financial Analyst – Real Estate Private Equity

Hybrid | Washington, DC Metro Area (MD/DC/Northern Virginia)

Salary: $120,000+ DOE plus excellent bonus and outstanding benefits

Our client, a highly respected real estate investment organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance & Operations team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of private equity, real estate investments, portfolio analytics, and executive decision support.

Working directly with senior finance leadership, you will partner with Asset Management, Acquisitions, Investor Relations, and Operations to provide financial analysis, portfolio reporting, valuation support, and investment performance reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare portfolio, fund, and property-level financial analysis and reporting

Maintain and enhance complex financial models supporting investment decisions

Analyze fund liquidity, capital calls, and investor distributions

Support quarterly fund financial reporting and portfolio valuations

Prepare executive-level reporting for senior leadership

Assist Investor Relations with financial information requests and fundraising support

Produce ad hoc analyses supporting acquisitions, asset management, and strategic initiatives

Maintain financial databases and reporting systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field preferred

3–6 years of financial analysis experience

Private equity and/or commercial real estate experience strongly preferred

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (Excel assessment required)

Experience with valuation modeling, cash flow analysis, IRR, DCF, NOI, and capital markets

Experience with Argus, iLEVEL, or similar real estate financial platforms is a plus

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced investment environment while managing multiple priorities
