Executive Account Manager - Industrial Parts Manufacturing (36168)

A global manufacturer of machine parts is seeking Executive Account Manager candidate to join their team in the Denver, CO area. This role is responsible for maintaining good relationships with key accounts and delivering customer-oriented technical support in order to develop business and work towards long-term projects.

The ideal candidate will have a background in linear motion system and prior experience with project management, account management, business development, or sales within automotive or manufacturing industries.

This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package. Travel is expected to be 25 - 50% throughout the Denver, CO area.

Executive Account Manager Include

• Develop new business accounts and maintain good relations with key purchasing and quality representatives at client locations
• Provide chemical product information, technical details, and insight to customers as needed
• Create price quotations and negotiate price / costs with customers; secure product orders and follow up on tracking and delivery
• Collaboration with global sales team and management to develop sales goals, process improvements, market research and analysis, etc.
• Travel regularly to visit clients and establish a visible presence at their location, working to provide technical insight and ensure effective project management (25 – 50% travel, on average)
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality departments on product changes and custom orders
• Other duties as assigned

Executive Account Manager Requirements Include

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Engineering field
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required
• 5 – 10 years of experience in account management and / or project management, preferably in the linear motion system industry or related industry
• Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
• Organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects as needed
• Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
