Regional Account Executive (Anime)

Company Overview

Under its long-term corporate strategy, our client has identified "Content & IP," "International Expansion," and "Animation" as its key growth pillars. As part of this initiative, the company established its Singapore office in February 2024 as a strategic hub for expansion across the Asian market.

Leveraging its extensive expertise accumulated in Japan and North America, our client aims to understand the unique needs and preferences of each Asian market, enabling deeper audience engagement. This strategic move supports the expansion of licensing, merchandising, and other business opportunities for various popular IPs and animation titles.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on your experience and capability, you will be appointed to an appropriate rank (Executive, Senior Executive, or Assistant Manager).

• Regional Marketing & Business Development: Expand the company's brand presence and promote products across Asia Pacific markets (e.g., Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia). Assist in developing and executing regional marketing strategies and business plans.
• Client Relationship Management: Present, promote, and drive licensing solutions of character intellectual property (IP) to existing and prospective clients. Focus on building and strengthening long-term, collaborative business relationships rather than aggressive hard-selling.
• Operational Support & Leadership: Collaborate with team members to coordinate marketing and sales efforts. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• (For Assistant Manager level) Provide guidance and support to junior team members, monitor performance, and track KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field (Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications is preferred).
• Experience: Open to all levels (Entry-level to 4-5 years of experience).
• Experience in B2B sales, account management, or marketing is highly valued.
• Note: Prior experience in the IP/Entertainment industry is NOT mandatory. Candidates with solid client-facing or marketing experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Genuine interest and passion for the animation, media, and entertainment industry.
• Language Proficiency:
• English & Business Chinese (Required for all levels): Highly proficient in speaking, reading, and writing Business Chinese to effectively communicate, negotiate, and liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts in regions such as Taiwan.
• Japanese (Required ONLY for Assistant Manager position): To liaise with Japanese-speaking headquarters and stakeholders.
• Travel: Willingness and flexibility to travel overseas frequently for business purposes.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team and build external partnerships.
• Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary: SGD 3,500 - SGD 5,000 per month (Commensurate with experience and skills)
• Note: Higher budget/allowance may be considered for candidates qualified for the Assistant Manager level.
• Annual Wage Supplement (AWS): Provided (13th-month bonus)
• Variable Bonus: Discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance
• Annual Leave: 14 days
• Medical Leave: 14 days
• Medical Insurance: Provided (upon completion of the 3-month probation period)

Working Hours & Location

• Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
• Work Arrangement: Full-time, In-office (Singapore Office)
• Visa Sponsorship: Work visa sponsorship may be considered for highly qualified candidates who fulfill all statutory requirements.
