Role Description

We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to build and elevate our people function during an exciting stage of growth.

This role is equal parts strategic and hands-on. You'll partner directly with leadership while owning the day-to-day execution of Human Resources across the organization. You'll help shape our employee experience, strengthen our culture, ensure compliance, and build scalable HR processes that support the continued growth of the business.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments
• Own the onboarding and offboarding experience
• Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, performance management, and career development
• Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and standard operating processes
• Ensure compliance with California employment laws and HR best practices
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation
• Support payroll administration and HRIS processes
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting
• Partner with leadership on organizational planning and workforce development
• Lead employee engagement and culture-building initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve HR operations through better systems and processes
• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across the organization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
• Experience in apparel, manufacturing, operations, distribution, or other fast-paced entrepreneurial environments strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance
• Experience managing employee relations, investigations, and performance management
• Experience administering benefits and leave programs
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Vernon, California.

Compensation

$90 - $100K annually
