Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Century City, CA

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000

About the Role

A growing and professional organization in Century City is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its team. This role will support day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a key resource for employees and management across multiple HR functions.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while handling sensitive and confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

• Support employee relations and assist with HR-related inquiries
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation processes
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment
• Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Assist with policy implementation and HR procedures
• Partner with leadership on recruiting and staffing needs
• Track and maintain HR reports, metrics, and personnel data
• Help coordinate training, development, and compliance programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
• Experience with employee relations, onboarding, benefits, and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification
• Experience supporting multiple departments or locations
• Background in professional services, healthcare, real estate, or corporate environments
