What You’ll Own

• Build creative recruiting strategies to reach top talent through sourcing, networking, partnerships, and other channels that actually work.
• Develop proactive pipelines for commercial and technical roles across different teams and levels.
• Create a thoughtful, responsive, and human candidate experience from first touch through offer stage.
• Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand what they need and turn that into clear hiring plans.
• Keep a pulse on talent trends, emerging skill sets, and the East Coast hiring market.
• Look for ways to make the recruiting process smoother, faster, and better for both candidates and internal teams.

What You Bring

• Recruiting experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, with commercial hiring experience and some exposure to technical roles preferred.
• The ability to jump into different types of roles quickly and figure out how to find the right talent.
• Experience or familiarity with defense technology, aerospace, national security, or similarly specialized talent markets is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Washington, DC / East Coast talent market and relevant professional networks.
• The ability to build trust quickly with hiring managers, candidates, and team members across a growing organization.
• Strong sourcing skills, good candidate assessment instincts, and comfort using modern recruiting tools and ATS platforms.
• A strategic mindset, paired with the ability to move quickly when priorities shift.
• Adaptability, resilience, and comfort working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
